The Western School District Online Curriculum Resource is available to assist you in advancing your student's knowledge at home.  You may select from  "Subjects" by clicking on that button or by general resources from the Resource Links.

The online "Resource Links" are general educational links.  There also may be links on each site that are available for specific Grade/Course and Subject and some of the sites are sorted by Michigan State Standards (Benchmarks).

"Michigan Teacher Network (MTN) provides easy access to K-12 education related Web resources that have been carefully evaluated for quality, relevance, and effectiveness. MTN describes thousands of high quality resources that can be effectively used with students in the classroom, for professional development, or for educational planning and problem solving. Curriculum resources described in MTN are correlated to the Michigan Curriculum Framework content standards."

We will make every attempt to continue to seek out new online resources and provide more information as we develop this site.  Our goal is to create a site which enhances our classroom instruction to better prepare our students for their future endeavors.  Some of our teachers are currently developing their own web sites for their departments, teaching teams or classes and will add links wherever possible to assist our students with their studies at home.  These web sites are available from each school home page under the "Teacher Web Sites" link.
