The Western School District makes every
effort to provide a high quality web site with information and links that
facilitate the accomplishment of our educational mission. Because of the
unpredictable nature of the Internet however, we cannot be responsible for
the content of pages from links to websites that are not maintained by
Western School District or hosted on our district server.
At Western School District,
we believe in participation in athletics as an important part of a
student's development. We further encourage a broad range of
involvement in sports, rather than specialization in one activity.
School attendance and academic achievement is required to be an athlete
here at Western and we work closely with the teachers to make sure all
academic requirements are met. We offer different sports each season
and are a member of the SMAA, Southern Michigan Activities Association. See
our event maps to the schools in the conference and other opponents.
