2006 Maroon and Gold Club

After a successful start in the fall of 2004, the Athletic Department is continuing an effort to increase the sense of community here at Western by, once again, by offering the “Maroon and Gold Club”.  By being a member of the club, we are hoping to collectively, gradually, improve the spectator seating for our outdoor venues.  The ultimate goal is to have at least 100 stadium seats with backs and armrests at each of the four outdoor venues.  The four venues include the baseball, softball, soccer, and football/track and field stadiums.

The first step in the program was to gain a membership of 100 to obtain the revenue to have 100 new stadium seats installed in the football stadium by the start of school in 2004.  Though we came up short of this goal, we felt that the first season was certainly a success.  The second phase is to again try for a membership of 100 in 2005.  By doing this, we will be able to reinvest the money into the other venues to try to upgrade the seating.  Below, you will find the outline of everything that is included in the package and we believe that you will find that the cost to you is very reasonable, especially if you enjoy attending a multitude of athletic contests throughout the school year.

***The cost to become a Maroon and Gold Club member is only $120, $60 for students and no cost for children not attending kindergarten this upcoming fall.***
