School Bus Rider Rules As we begin another school year, it is the goal of the Transportation Department to provide the safest, most efficient and enjoyable ride possible. To do this we need the full cooperation of students, parents and school officials. Riding a school bus is a privilege which may be denied for improper bus conduct. We urge parents to review the school bus rider rules with your child(ren). Responsibilities of the pupil:
• To observe classroom conduct (except for ordinary conversation) while
getting on or off the bus
• To obey the driver cheerfully and to report promptly to the building
principal when instructed to
• To be in the place designated both morning and evening ready to board
the bus at the • To stay off the traveled roadway at all times while waiting for the b u s. • To wait until the bus has come to a complete stop before attempting to get on or off. • To cross the traveled highway if necessary after leaving the bus in the following manner: 1. Make certain that the bus is stationary.
