Western High School Beyond High School Western participates with the Jackson Area Career Center (J.A.C.C.) by sending eligible students to the Career in their Junior and/or Senior year. Western also participates in a Dual Enrollment Program for those students that have passed all proficiency exams to attend college classes in certain academic areas, that are not offered at Western. These classes may be taken for High School and/or College Credit. Please see the Student Handbook for details. We have a section on our High School web site devoted to Seniors with many links to scholarships, colleges, financial aid, government sites and more. Our Counseling Staff will be happy to assist students with scheduling classes, testing information and our College Prep Diploma Endorsement. |
