Elementary Parent and Community Participation Many opportunities are available to encourage dialogue between the school, the home, and the community. Parents and the community are vital links in providing a well rounded educational experience. Their voluntary service affords the following:
* Book Fair * Computer Assistance * Fund Raisers * Family Night Activities * Carnival * Business Partnerships * Parent Teacher Association * Field Day Committee * Challenge “U” * Fifth Grade Camp * Reading Month Activities * Mileage Club * Destination Imagination * Santa’s Secret Shop * Market Day * Teacher Recognition Program * Pop Into Reading Parents are encouraged to visit our school. Frequent parental input is sought in developing new programs for students. Parent volunteers also serve on a school improvement advisory board. We enjoy tremendous support as is evidenced by 96% attendance at parent-teacher conferences and excellent turnouts for building functions.
