 Parent and Community Support

Parma’s PTA and school volunteers devote many hours to enriching the educational programs for Parma students.  Their fund raising projects provide the necessary finances for special programs, assemblies, author visits, Binder Park Zoo presentations, roller skating, Reading Month prizes, materials, and equipment.  Their volunteer services give additional small group help in and out of the classroom.

Special events such as Santa’s Secret Shop, Fall Family Fun Fests, Carnival, and 2 for 1 Book Sales provide opportunities for quality family time.  The welcoming and open atmosphere of our PTA leadership encourages the participation of many parents and teachers.

Parma’s average attendance at Parent-teacher conferences is 98%.
