Math

Math will be updated for the new school year in August.

  We are completing our last story in our Celebrate books and enjoying a Cam Jensen mystery chapter book.  We have such good readers in our room.  Thank you for all of your support this year with reading logs and helping your child to become independent readers.

 We still have many students who are sharing current events and helping us keep posted on what is taking place in our community and world.  The students have finished a unit on Government, our leaders and their importance of being good citizens.
 

We are learning about the body systems in science and the effects of drugs on our bodies.

Dear Parents,

This has been a GREAT year.  Thank you for all the help with reading logs, current events, helping with parties, helping in the classroom with art and PowerPoint projects and chaperoning field trips.  I really appreciate the super group of parents.  I hope each of you and your families have a safe and fun summer.

Field Trips

Wed. June 2nd.
We are going to have cook out picnic with our pen pals in Mr. Morrow's class in Napoleon.  Students do not have to bring a lunch that day.  There is a $2.00 charge for both students and chaperones to cover lunch and bus expenses.

Friday, June 4th
We are planning on having our class picnic at the park and then walk over to the Spring Arbor University to go swimming.  There is a $2.00 fee per student to rent the facilities.  Students will need to bring a sack lunch on that day.  We would appreciate having a coupe of parents join us if you are available.
