Dear Families,
Just another friendly reminder. Your child receives a spelling list at the beginning of each week. These list are composed of high frequency words at their level as well as word family words or vocabulary words from the book of the week. Book of the Week go home at the beginning of the week with the spelling note. The book of the week or take-home book is to be read aloud to you and any addition assignments should be completed and returned to the classroom the very next day. Sincerely, Sara Delor

February will be full of great books for your child take a peek at. Many of these books will be added to our shared reading time together. Students may choose from the many Valentine's Day stories, President's Day stories, Black History Month stories, and Chinese New Year stories throughout the month of February in our Book Nook. I would also like to finish the story Matilda by Roald Dahl by this months end. Have a wonderful February!
