Faulkner Visits Warner Elementary  (click on a photo to open a new window with a larger image) On Tuesday, Feb. 28th, Warner Elementary in Spring Arbor hosted Matt Faulkner, a Michigan author and illustrator as part of our Reading Month celebration. He made presentations during the day to all grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Matt Faulkner has written and illustrated a number of books including: The Black Belt, The Moon Clock and The Giving Season. He has also illustrated Jack and the Beanstalk, Sir Silver Swine, and Scatter Brain Sam. Faulkner also creates illustrations for national newspapers and magazines and teaches illustration at the Center for Creative Studies. He lives in southeastern Michigan with his son Gabe.
