Elementary Warner Elementary Profile Warner Elementary serves four hundred nineteen students in grades kindergarten through five. Warner’s average daily attendance is 95%. There are sixteen classrooms with a total of thirty-four staff members at Warner Elementary. School Improvement Plan The Western School District Board of Education approved a five year plan for Warner Elementary School. Ongoing curriculum studies are conducted and textbooks regularly reviewed. A steering committee comprised of an administrator, school board member, parents, teachers, and community members oversee the school improvement process. The following goals and strategies were established to address the needs of all Warner students:
* All students will show increased ability to demonstrate scientific reasoning within physical science at all grade levels.
* All students will increase their ability to use details and examples to develop ideas in writing across the curriculum.
* All students at all grade levels will demonstrate improved ability to explain government at the national, state, and local level. Student Achievement Warner Elementary School provides a complete standardized testing program to support the learning of all students, as well as provide insight into needed instructional improvements. MEAP test results are reported for males and females in percentages proficient. MAT results are reported in grade equivalents.
