Grade Level
Objectives
Introduction
This section details the musical
concepts introduced, reinforced, or demonstrated throughout the
grades by marking period. It also incorporates the evaluative
structures from comprehensive grade-level assessments (individual),
and the chamber music and full ensemble performances. All musical
concepts learned apply equally across winds and melody percussion;
non-pitched percussion instrument techniques are also listed. It is
important that this sequence be preserved to consistently allow the
full ensemble to perform at the appropriate level.
