able to model all parts on piece for section

*able to model routine for newer members

able to run effective sectional with peers

*able to assist coach in writing routines

able to appropriately balance parts in section

Third Nine Weeks

*able to convey coach's vision with own

Band festival preparation:

*able to write routines at appropriate level incorporating

properly prepare, play march

learned fundamentals, timing, and exemplary instruction

properly prepare, play required piece

drum major:

properly prepare, play selected piece

*able to role-model all fundamentals at a high level

Execute all pieces at high level

*able to read, explain and set marching drill charts at a high level

for tone

*able to conduct marching selections at a high level

for intonation

*able to lead by example for other drum major, staying a team
