Update for Seniors Graduation Cap and gown Rentals: Unlike past years when WHS students would purchase their cap and gown, this year our seniors are starting a new Western tradition and will be renting their graduation gowns. This provides a more formal and elegant look than the purchased gowns. In addition, students supported the idea of all seniors wearing the same gowns and are excited about this new tradition. The graduating senior will still keep their cap and tassel. Senior Yard Signs are now availalable for pick up at the High School Office Earn money for college! Did you know that by getting a passing score on your MEAP- you will be qualified for the Michigan Merit Award in the amount of $2500 to be used at any approved postsecondary institution. Seniors who did not pass a section of the MEAP with a level I or Level II score last spring will be given an opportunity next week to retake those sections. Be on the lookout for a yellow notification form which will let you know which sections you need to retake and when! Retakes will occur in the cafeteria at the start of first hour. Morning Career Center students will be excused IF they are testing. Please see your counselor if you have any questions. |
