National Honor Society  Click here for photos of the 2006 Induction Dinner and Ceremony. The National Honor Society held the 2006 Induction Ceremony on November 20, 2006. Mike Hardie and the Food Service staff set up a beautiful dinner for the inductees and their families. The WHS Jazz Band, under the direction of Paul Bickel performed before dinner. Students spoke on the Candle of Knowledge, Candle of Scholarship, Candle of Service, Candle of Leadership and the Candle of Character. The guest speaker was Superintendent, Dr. William Coale speaking about how quickly our world is changing and how technology is affecting our lives. He showed a PowerPoint presentation to illustrate how our students use technology in their lives everyday and the differences between our advances in the United States and those around the world.
