Old Business:
Athletic Boosters- Jeannine Haves made an attempt to contact the Western Athletic Boosters concerning sharing concession profits. It was decided that Jeannine would approach the Athletic Boosters with a proposal. games where the marching band is participating.

Stacy Jones percussion clinician- $300.00

Received a $150.00 contribution for the Western Band Boosters
It was determined that the contribution would go toward scholarships.
School District Calendar: Pam Fedewa approached the Western Band Boosters concerning the Western School District calendar. She proposed that the group take over the responsibility of publishing the calendar and use it as a fundraiser for Western Band Boosters. She is in the process of researching different printing companies, and possible calendar programs. The response from the group in attendance was positive. Pam will continue to gather information concerning this project.
Western Band Student Private Lessons: Kellie McInchak approached Jeannine Havens proposing that Western Band Boosters help fund private lessons for band students. After discussing the pros and cons it was determined that this idea would be put on hold for the time being.
The next meetings for Western Band Boosters will be held on Monday May, 14 6:00 in the band room.
