Western Middle School Band Solo & Ensemble On Saturday, November 18th, Western Middle School 7th and 8th grade band students, under the direction of Kellie McInchak and Paul Bickel, participated in M.S.B.O.A. District 8 Solo and Ensemble Festival held at Charlotte Middle School. Students earned 68 first division ratings, 37 second division ratings, and 3 third division ratings. 51% of 7th graders participated and 85% of 8th graders participated.
