Library (IMC)

The library is open to students before and after school for individual reading and studying.  The library is considered a QUIET ZONE so don’t plan on going in there just to socialize. 

Sign-in at the desk for either the library or the walk-in lab.  To use the walk-in lab after school when it is available students must have a pass from the teacher stating what they are to be working on.
 

                                      Limited Areas

The high school, auditorium area, the area outside the school are off-limits.  At lunch there is a designated area outside for your enjoyment.  Know that area and stay within it.
 

            Lockers

Every student at WMS is issued a hall locker each year that has a built-in combination.  At no time should students change their lockers or use someone else’s without administrative permission.  Students must be responsible for keeping their locker clean and free of trash at all times.  Do not put open liquid containers in the locker.  Money and other valuables should never be kept in a locker.  Check them in at the office for safekeeping.  Do not write on the lockers.

Student lockers are the property of the district.  Periodic general inspections of lockers may be conducted by school authorities for any reason at any time, without notice, without student consent, and without a search warrant.

Students are issued a physical education lock and locker by the physical education department.  These lockers are not intended for storing valuable items. 
 

                                 

Lost and found items are turned into the office.  Gym clothing is turned into the area in the locker room designated as lost and found.  Anyone wanting to offer a reward for lost items may do so by asking to place the information in the daily announcements.
