Medications

Medications are to be presented to the office in original prescription bottles correctly labeled with specific information including child’s name, dosage, name of doctor, and pharmacy.  This includes all over-the-counter medications like aspirin or Tylenol, inhalers, and all prescription medications.  Students may not share any prescription medication with other students or staff.
 

                                  Physical Education

Physical Education is an important aspect for students.  All students taking physical education are expected to participate unless they have a medical excuse from a physician or a temporary parental excuse. 

Be prepared by having the proper clothing.  Dressing as instructed for each class is expected from all students.  Three no-dresses will result in 5 days of lunch detention.  Jewelry is not allowed in gym.  Gum chewing is also not
 

                                 Progress Reporting

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for students and parents to view students’ grades and missing assignments in their classes for grades 6-12 via the Internet.                              Public Displays of Affection

Kissing and hugging are not allowed on school grounds.

 

                        Snow Days/School Cancellations

Decisions to close school due to poor weather conditions will generally be made between 5:30 and 6 am.  Under certain circumstances school may be closed early and students sent home.  These closings will be announced on local TV and radio stations. Please do not call the school.
