School Bus Conduct

Please help keep our buses safe and on schedule by following these rules:

¨         Be at your bus stop at least 5 minutes before its arrival.

¨         Wait for it to stop completely before beginning to get on or off.

¨         Use the front door only, except in an emergency.

¨         Cross at least 3 feet in front of the bus after checking traffic and following the driver’s instruction..

¨         Stay seated when the bus in in motion.

¨         Cooperate with and obey all of the driver’s instructions, treating them with        respect.

¨         Do not eat or drink on the bus.

¨         No glass objects allowed at all.

¨         Talk quietly, don’t push or crowd, keep your head inside the bus, and keep the aisles clear.

The same standards that apply in school also apply to being at the bus stop or on a bus.  Disciplinary action will be an outcome for poor choices when on a bus.  Students can lose bus privileges either temporarily or permanently.
