Presentation of Data: Student Data
As shown above, the MEAP writing scores plummeted in 2002 and were
slightly below the state average in 2001.
Of the 14 objectives tested in Life Science, our students were below 60%
answering correct on half of them.
Of the 10 objectives tested in Physical Science, our students were below 60%
correct on half of the objectives.
The writing test has now been moved to 7th grade. When it was in 8th
grade we were right at or just below the state average.
As shown by the graph above, the Metropolitan Achievement Test in writing
shows that in the last couple of years students are scoring below grade
level.
The MEAP social studies scores have been below the state average for
several years. |
